Miniature Highland cattle have all the wonderful characteristics of standard Highlands, just in a smaller size. To be classified as a true Miniature Highland, the animal must measure under 42 inches at the hip when fully grown at around three years of age. There are three size categories: Micro Miniature: Under 36 inches (91.4 cm) at three years old. Extremely rare. Miniature: Between 36 and 42 inches (91.4 cm to 106.7 cm). Hard to find! Mid-Size: Between 42 and 48 inches (106.7 cm to 122 cm). Standard Highland: Anything over 48 inches. The cutoff height is final at three years of age. Each Calve moving to a new home will leave up to date on all vaccinations recommended by our veterinarians. The new owner will receive the original, signed veterinary health report including blood test results.
