Turkeys are large, ground-dwelling birds native to the Americas, known for their distinctive gobble (males), iridescent feathers, and unique fleshy head features like the snood, with two species: the North American wild turkey and the Central American ocellated turkey. Wild turkeys are surprisingly fast runners (up to 25 mph) and short-distance flyers (up to 55 mph), roosting in trees for safety, while domestic turkeys are bred for size and often can't fly. They are omnivores, eating seeds, fruits, and insects. As a private aviary, we focus on the quality of our birds. We are not a hatchery, we rather emphasize on quality not quantity. Our quality breeding birds ,are all kept in their own separate pens to ensure we supply birds of high purebred standards Call/Text (970)602-7110 Email: palmfarmsteads@gmail.com
